Easier Collaboration for Free Account Users
Free account users can now share diagrams via URL, making it simple to collaborate instantly. When accessing basic sharing options like link sharing, it allows for smooth and hassle-free teamwork. Premium sharing features, such as email invitations and advanced controls, will be available as optional enhancements, giving users flexibility to collaborate at their own pace while exploring Creately’s full capabilities.
Accurate Connector Styling to Reflect Genogram Relationships
We’ve improved connector styling in genogram diagrams to ensure styles are applied precisely, clearly representing the types of relationships between family members. This update guarantees that all connectors visually convey the correct connection details, making your genograms easier to read and more informative. Clearer Text Display in Rotated Shapes
We’ve enhanced the way text appears inside rotated text shapes to ensure your content always looks clean and professional. With this improvement, text now adjusts dynamically within the shape’s boundaries—regardless of rotation—so you can confidently rotate, resize, and format your text shapes without losing any part of your message. This makes diagramming smoother and ensures your ideas are communicated clearly, from every angle.
Bullet Point Text Now Visible in Image Exports
We’ve enhanced the export functionality to ensure all your text, including bullet points, numbered lists, and checklists, appears exactly as intended in JPG and PNG formats. Previously, some of this styled text would not show up accurately in exported images, but with this update, every detail of your workspace is now captured accurately. Whether you’re sharing diagrams in presentations or reports, you can trust that all your content—especially important lists—will be clearly visible and professionally rendered.
Smarter Connector Behavior When Resizing and Moving
We’ve refined how connectors behave when you’re working with multiple selected shapes. Previously, resizing and moving a group of shapes could cause connectors to misalign. With this improvement, connectors now stay properly attached and maintain their structure throughout your edits, whether you’re resizing, repositioning, or reorganizing flowcharts. This update ensures your diagrams stay intact and saves you time by reducing the need for manual adjustments.
Enhanced Template Flexibility with Frames
We’ve made working with templates even more seamless by ensuring your shapes stay safe when editing frames. Now, when you delete a frame in templates, the shapes you’ve moved outside the frame remain perfectly preserved. This improvement gives you greater freedom to customize and rearrange templates without worrying about losing any elements. Drag-and-Drop Shapes from Quick Action Toolbar
We’ve enhanced the bottom-left toolbar by enabling drag-and-drop functionality for shapes from the quick action buttons directly onto the canvas. This improvement streamlines your workflow, making it faster and more intuitive to add shapes exactly where you want them. Simply grab a shape from the toolbar and drop it onto your diagram—no extra clicks needed. Designing has never been this smooth!
Smoother Shape Editing and Selection, Even When Inverted or Rotated
We’ve improved how shapes behave when inverted or rotated to make editing and selection hassle-free. Now, the text editor works flawlessly inside inverted shapes, and selecting shapes—even containers with multiple child elements—is much easier. Instead of requiring precise clicks, you can now select containers by dragging within a comfortable 25x25 pixel area, reducing frustration and speeding up your workflow. These enhancements ensure you can focus on your design without interruptions or extra clicks.
Seamless Data Field Addition in Shape Notes
You can now add new data fields directly within the shape notes panel without any interruptions. Simply type ‘/’ and select the ‘New data field’ option to instantly enhance your shapes with custom information. This improvement ensures a smoother, more intuitive experience, making it easier than ever to organize and manage your diagram data on the fly.
